This operation involves modifying the shape and size of the nose to assume a more aesthetic end result that will enhance the overall facial appearance. The procedure may involve reshaping the nose by reducing or increasing its size, removing a possible hump, changing the tip or bridge, narrowing the span of the nostrils, or even changing the angle between the nose and upper lip or reconstruction to improve breathing problems. Nasal surgery is usually not painful and doesn’t leave visible scars, but there can be swelling and bruising, which usually settles rapidly.
