I had very droopy eyelids and had been considering this surgery for four years. Although I was quite scared by having this procedure done, I could not have been more informed, relaxed and comforted by Dr Edinburg and his entire team. From the initial phone call to make an appointment to see Dr Edinburg through to my discharge everyone has been so helpful and understanding. I didn't have to ask many questions, everything was explained so well. My surgery was a great success. I had a very easy recovery, with very little pain at all. I am over the moon with the results. Not only has the droopiness of my eyelids gone and my eyes opened up more but my peripheral vision has improved. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Dr Edinburg and his team to anyone considering any form of surgery. It was the best decision I could have made. Thanks to everyone at Eden Institute.

Dr Mark Edinburg was wonderful!!!!! I could not have asked for a better doctor. From my first consultation I walked out feeling excited that I was getting the operation done.I didn't really have to ask any questions he answered them all for me. I was very informed of the procedure and was feeling confident after meeting Mark. The day of the operation he assured me everything was ok and things will be fine. Not that I was concerned because I knew I was in good hands. Dr Mark Edinburg makes you feel comfortable and relaxed and assures you that you’re ok.
I was always relaxed and happy and never doubted anything about this procedure. Every appointment and check-up was on a personal level and everything is about the patient’s basis and makes you feel looked after and cared for every step of the way. No words can explain how happy I was and how lucky I felt to have Dr Edinburg as my doctor to help me in this journey and give me a gift and improve my life so much. Anyone who is wanting to a great doctor to not only look after you but perform great surgery to give you what you want, he’s the one. Every step of the way was great and no words can express how satisfied I am with the whole experience. The most important thing is a great doctor I believe!!!!! And I definitely had that. Which I am so grateful for and will be forever.
Thank you Mark!!!!!!!!!
EXPERIENCE AND PROCEDURE REVIEW
For many years I have had large breasts. As I called them - massively huge. Right through school and into my adult years I always had boobs. They kept getting bigger and bigger over the years and caused me grief. But I just put up with it and accepted how I was and got on with life even though deep down I was in pain and I was silently wishing I was never born to have such huge boobs. As any girl with large boobs will know it is depressing. Not only on an everyday basis but little things like buying bras, tops and dresses to fit and to look good too. It was an impossible job and I would only end up leaving the shops every time feeling down and horrible about myself. But I was used to it because it happened every time.
I’m 28 years old and until recently (May) when I had my operation, I was a 16G. I was big!!!!!!!I made a visit to my family lady GP in my local area and asked questions about breast reductions. I had made the choice myself to go and at least ask questions to get myself started on the decision I was about to make. Before I even finished what I was saying to her she had already written down Dr Mark Edinburg's name on paper and said to me I can't believe you haven't already got it done. Call him he'll help you and you won’t regret it. And of course she was right. I have never looked back and could not have asked for a better doctor to look after me and give me what I wanted. New smaller boobs!!!!!!
I straight away went home, sat on my bed thought about it for ages...looked at the paper and the number for a while and was so scared to make the call. More nervous than anything. After making the call and spoke to one of the lovely ladies on the phone, asked a million questions and without hesitation she answered everything I needed to know. All the ladies at the office were beautiful. I don't think I could have asked for such nicer lovely caring ladies to help me with all my calls and questions and enquiries I made over the last few months. Definitely made my time and experience a lot easier and calming. They were lovely and I appreciated everything they did and the treatment I got. They were gems the whole time!!!!!!! Just gorgeous. After talking to me family and my partner about it I then got back on the phone and made a booking for my first consultation with Mark. I waited 6 weeks for the appointment but it was worth waiting. From the first appt to the last appt I had after my op, I walked out feeling happy and cared for. I instantly knew that I had a great doctor to look after me and I knew I had made the best choice ever to have this operation done. After my appt i went home, read all the info in my pack and did any further research I needed to do, then called back and booked in my actual operation. I was booked in fairly soon and only had to wait a couple months for the op. (Private Hospital)
I was proud of myself for doing it and to this day 3 months after I still am. I checked into the hospital early. Got taken to my room and sat there for a little while till I saw all the nurses and doctors I needed to see. I wasn't scared or nervous. I was excited and couldn't wait till we got the show on the road. I just wanted to get in there. When I finally got wheeled to theatre I was so excited I cried!!!!!!!! The last thing I remember was being told to relax and a lady rubbing my arm. 4 hours later after the best sleep of my life I woke up in recovery and it took me a while to remember where I was and what I just had done!!! When I did finally realise I looked down my gown and saw my new… little!!! Much smaller boobs. I couldn't believe it and was so happy. All i could do was smile and say omg omg omg omg. I wasn't in any pain. I felt sick from the anaesthetic but that was the worst of it. I had drains coming out of the side of each breast. They were draining out any fluid and blood from the breasts. I couldn't feel them in. They didn't hurt being in there but stung a little when they were removed 24 hours later. But they didn't worry me at all. I knew I needed them so I was ok with it. The hospital stay was great. (Killara Private) The nurses were lovely and gave me everything i needed to be comfy and get sleep for the night.. They were all great and I couldn't thank them enough for their care.
I was only on Panadol every 4-6 hours yes that’s right Panadol!!!!! That’s it. And an anti-inflammatory and an antibiotic for a week. The most pain I had was a little tightening and pressure on my chest but it was manageable and never was I in pain where I couldn't handle it. I was surprised myself how little pain I had.I was home the next day by 1:30 and from there I was on the lounge and recovering for 2 weeks before I got back into normal every day activities. I slept as much as I could. I found that every time I slept then woke up I was feeling better every time. Sleep helped a lot and you’re so tired from the operation you sleep anyway. I finally showered after 4 days. That was scary but didn't hurt my breasts cuts at all. Actually was good to get some water on them it was quite soothing. So don’t be scared about the water when u can shower. It will be ok. I had a 1 week post op appt. they changed my dressings and gave me some new ones and checked me over to see that I was healing nicely. Which I was. I then had a 6 week check-up and again changed my dressings and I no longer needed to wear anything. It did the wounds good having them aired out and nothing on them. Felt good. By this stage I was healing perfectly and there were no dramas. I was feeling good and back to normal energy levels again. So after the 2 weeks recovering and starting to move around I quickly learnt that I could only do little at a time then i started to get tired again and feel a little stiffness in my breasts. Which is normal but I just took it slowly for another few weeks. I took 5 weeks off work only because with my job I knew any earlier would be too early to go back and I’m so glad I took it all off because I needed to rest for that time and to recover the best I could.
Overall my experience and the operation itself was great and I’d do it all over again and worth every minute and would tell anyone who asks that it’s going to be the best thing you'll ever do for yourself!!!!!!!!!! And now I am fitting into a size 16 C bra. 4 sizes smaller. Never ever thought I would ever fit into a bra that size and be able to wear bras that are pretty and make u feel so good. Best feeling ever!!!!!!!! 3 months post op my scars are a little red but hardly noticeable already. They are little and they don't worry me at all. They are better looking than I thought!!!!!! I feel like a new person and when I look at pics and compare more than half my chest is gone!!!! Already feels like forever that I’ve had my smaller boobs and I forget what it was like to be so big.
Good luck to any girl out there and I know you won’t regret it. :)
I write this reference in thanks to a remarkable man who has literally changed our lives forever. This opening statement sounds grand but I must explain why. Dr Mark Edinburg performed a Breast Augmentation for us on the 20th March 2012. My wife and I had many years in discussion over having this procedure, its pros and cons, the bad media and of course those unethical doctors and product suppliers. It was a scary thought to say the least. From the outset when we met Dr Edinburg, it was clear to us that he is a man who listens to the clients and their fundamental objectives. My wife had a self esteem issue relating to her breasts. Our consultations prior to surgery we had with Dr Edinburg made the decision to have this procedure so much easier because of his ability to ensure we were fully aware of not only the surgery and the inherent risks, but also his views on the decision making and ultimately the size and sculpture of the finished product. The staff are all just wonderful as well and this can only be attributed to Dr Edinburg's commitment to excellence in providing an enjoyable and professional experience where you don't just feel like a patient but part of a success story. The end result could not have been any better.

Hi. I used this site when preparing for my surgery so I thought I'd give something back and tell my positive story. MY surgeon was Dr Mark Edinburg of Chatswood. I originally went to him for a scar revision consultation and thought "while I'm here...". Three months later (and Christmas in between), I was on the operating table. It's not been 4 weeks since my surgery and I can now lie on my stomach, lift things (although I probably shouldn't) and wear normal bras. I had my surgery on Wednesday morning and I worked from home on Friday and returned to the office on Monday. The trick is to not over-think the surgery and just go in with the mindset that it's not going to disrupt your life. My breasts look pretty amazing and natural (already) - my fiance and I are both very happy. The surgeon went larger than what I asked for, but in the end, I think he was right. I am a size 6/8, with a bony upper body and Dr ME used 220 cc's. I put this surgery off for 15 years. I'm very glad I bit the bullet and just did it.

Before I had my Breast Augmentation with Dr Edinburg, I was always frustrated with padded bras and purchasing clothing that I actually never felt comfortable in due to the fact that I had no breasts. The fact is that in terms of normal female development I had progressed quite well into a healthy woman, but unfortunately, my breasts grew slightly when I was 11 years old and that was it. And now I was going on 20 years old and finding bras that once fitted me when I was 12 now gaping in the cup! My mother had told me that she was in the exact same situation at my age, but getting breast implants was a life changing experience for her, and she has never looked back since! I made an appointments with Dr Edinburg to find out more information regardingly pricing, operation procedures and recovery time, and by the end of the appointment I wanted to book a date. Three days after the opereation, I was concerned that the size of breasts were not that different in comparison to the size they were preopereative, and I was upset that I felt uncomfortable for nothing. But when I was permitted to shower and remove the prescribed tight-fitting bra I was modelling in front of the mirror for a good 10 minutes admiring the vase improvement and almost forgot to shower!
Now, at only a week and a half post surgery, I am absolutely beside myself with the results. I have little bruising remianing, and the incision lines are healing quite well (Dr Edinburg had to point them out to me in order for me to be able to distinguish them!). Showering is currently my most favoured time of the day as I am reminded of the best decision I've made so far. The result is completely natural looking breasts that are the perfect size for my figure.
I strongly recommend this procedure for women who are after a life changing experience.

When I walked into your office a few months back, I had no idea at the time just how much that one visit to a perfect stranger was going to change my life forever. I was scared and nervous, and had not completely made up my mind that I was going to go through with any type of procedure. I came to you, after losing a fair bit of weight, but I was unhappy with my end result. After all the training (rain, hail or shine) I went through, my change of diet. I felt that I was cheated of all my hard work, which led me to your office. After meeting with you for the first time, I knew that you could help me, I felt comfortable with you, and loved how honest and up-front you were about everything and I knew I would end up with the body that I deserved :) It was a matter of weeks and I was in hospital, again nervous and scared, but so damn excited :) I knew it was going to be hard, but with your words I was ready for anything. The first couple of days in hospital were the hardest, but I couldn't stop thinking about how much I wanted to get out of bed and show off my new body... Everyday got a little easier, and now 4 months down the track after my Abdominoplasty and Liposuction, I have dropped a couple of dress sizes (Im running, I cycle, and I Zumba), I'm wearing a size 12 suit, and I have an amazing (beautiful scar) along with my amazing new body - This I thank you for... A new lease on life :) In my 30 years I have not smiled this much ever :) I would recommend you to anybody!! Thank you so much again.

In July 2007 I had abdominoplasty to reduce the overhand that I had resulted from weight loss. I also had liposuction performed on my hips. These procedures are not without potential complications (like all surgery) but mine went very, very well. After my recuperation period (6-8 weeks) I fully appreciated what I had done. No belly! Hello feet! I can do my shoes up without cutting off my breathing and with no difficulty. My 'trunck' has not much 'junk' anymore and I am delirious! I do not get tired during the day anymore. You can actually see where my breasts stop and my abdomen begins! I have gone down at least 1 and 1/2 dress and pant sizes. I have more energy, more confidence and NO reason to indulge ever again. Truly, honestly, I can say that this surgery literally changed my life. I am about to undertake my PADDI Driving Certificate over the Xmas period. i have taken up tap dancing and am planning to travel because i am fitter and healthier than I have been in a long time. Bear in mind, this procedure DID NOT fix my marriage, make my children behave or solve my financial reasons. BUT IT DID give me more pride in myself and more confidence and self assuarance. I am planning, and saving, to have a bi lateral arm reduction done in 2008 to rid myself of my 'granny arms' and stop the wobble!

I'm not sure if you remember me. I had your amazing hands do some work on my nose about 3 years ago. I am writing to you just to say thank you so much for doing a brilliant job and for helping make me a more confidant person and change my life!
When I look in the mirror I think about how conscious I used to be and how I don't need to be like that now as I love the shape and look of my nose. People are always commenting on how "cute" my nose is and that's them not knowing I had a little work done on it! That is the biggest compliment of all - how natural it looks and how great it makes me feel.
I am always giving people your name and location if they do have any issued with themselves not only because I trust you but because you were so patient and understanding during my decision making process.
Again, than you so much Dr Mark for making me a happier person with the way I look and for the great work of Art on my nose.

This is just a short note to thank you for the excellent work you did on removing 2 moles, one on my face and the other below my right ear. After 2 weeks of surgery, there was hardly a scar. I have already recommended you to two work colleagues.
All in a day's work for you but the results will remain with me forever . You have made such a difference to the way I feel about myself. Thank you so much until the next time we meet!!
To Debbie and Team,
A note to thank you for your kindness. We were so impressed with the care and support offered to us during my preparation, surgery and recovery. Thank you. Such a small word but it's filled with gratitude.

Dear Dr Edinburg,
You performed a Dupuytren's operation on my right ring finger in June 2005 and I am writing to say how pleased I am with the results. I have not forgotten your warning that the disease can recur. However I have almost normal use of my right hand, even typing after a lapse of several years. I inherited this condition from my father, who was a fine musician until Dupuytren's affected his dexterity. In the early 1960s little could be done to relive his condition. I am grateful for the progress in medical science and so fortunate to have a physician with your knowledge and surgical skill.
Yours in appreciation, Michael C
Dearest Dr Mark,
I think I should begin this letter by saying the one thing I've wanted to say since you first agreed to help me. THANK YOU!! Thank you SO incredibly much from the bottom of my heart... thank you. Thank you for completely changing my life and enhancing my happiness to its highest possible level. Believe me, I'm not saying any of this lightly, you have given me the best gift of all, self confidence and the ability to walk into a room and greet everyone with the biggest smile ever!
Yours sincerely, Chantelle H
I feel like I have been on a mission for 12 years. After consulting two other cosmetic surgeons regarding a breast reduction, I found Dr Mark Edinburg. I took a few months to decide to go ahead with a breast reduction and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). Never at any time have I felt uncomfortable with any information or communication with Dr Edinburg. At all times his staff (Debbie, Eva and Wanda) have been very friendly and approachable. Even the anesthetist Dr Jean Marie Fricot was excellent (very little pain). I am extremely happy with the end result. I now have a wardrobe of clothes that fit, at no extra expense or shopping. The follow-up visits have been as friendly and professional as the first day I had my consultation. I cannot speak highly enough about everything from beginning to end.
Yours faithfully, Pauline B
