Is your skin looking duller and more lifeless than you would like to admit? Is scarring and hyperpigmentation a top concern for you?
Dermastamp® is a non-invasive treatment designed to stimulate the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin, which works to smooth and plump the skin from the inside out, for improved skin tone and texture. Some people also refer to Dermastamp® treatments as Skin Needling or Collagen Induction Therapy.
The Dermastamp® vibrational stamping device uses very small-gauge needles to reinvigorate the skin, infusing skin with active and stimulating ingredients for complexion rejuvenation.
Dermastamp® is a versatile treatment that can be used to target a variety of skin concerns, including:
Dermastamp® is also useful for promoting all-round general skin health.
Many patients begin to notice changes in the surface of their skin within the first 6 weeks, when new skin cells have been generated and blood supply to the target area is enhanced.
Skin will experience a boost of hydration, feel more refreshed and you will see a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. Depending on the treatment goal it is recommended that treatment sessions occur every 4-6 weeks for optimal results.
There are a number of skin-needling machines on the market, including some for use at home and others in beauty salons. As with all our offerings at the Eden Institute MediSpa, we have researched and come up with the most medical and scientific options to incorporate alongside our other specialist clinic treatments. As with just about everything, not all offerings on the market are of the same standard or quality. At the Eden Institute MediSpa, our professional cosmetic registered nurses have the qualified expertise and experience with administering Dermastamp® treatments, ensuring quality and satisfactory outcomes for our patients.
Are you ready to invigorate your skin and restore that glow?
Come see us at the Eden Institute MediSpa for a consultation and we will develop a customised Dermastamp® treatment plan that addresses your specific problem areas. We have some great packages, including aftercare packs which will ensure you get optimal results from each treatment. Rest assured that anything we prescribe or recommend to you will be tailored to your body, your goals and your budget.
Due to the absence of heat involved, there is no risk of hyper pigmentation, making Dermastamp treatments suitable for all skin types including darker and Asian skin. If you have skin concerns such as pigmentation, redness, acne, capillaries, acne scarring, fine lines, crepey skin, enlarged pores or ageing skin in general, Dermastamp may be an option to consider. Come in and see us for a proper assessment and we are more than happy to customise the most suitable treatment plan for you.
The Dermastamp vibrational stamping device uses very fine needles to promote a process of skin stimulation and rejuvenation. The treatments are designed to stimulate your body’s collagen and elastin production, vital for effective anti-ageing and for encouraging that smooth and firm complexion we all want. The collagen stimulation and induction begins when you first have the treatment and continues over the following 6-12 months, providing gradual but long lasting results. The treatment helps repair skin naturally by encouraging the formation of new collagen and elastin fibres.
When treating scars the procedure works by releasing old fibrotic scar tissue from deep within the skin. Scar tissue is what creates visible scars on the skin’s surface so releasing this tissue allows the skin to smooth itself. Patients can often see improvements of 70-80% with their scarring when they follow an optimal treatment plan.
Treatments take approximately 1 hour. To start off, our cosmetic nurses will cleanse and sterilise your skin. Your skin will then be numbed to ensure comfort – as a result, the treatment is considered painless. The tip of the Dermastamp device will glide over your skin creating stimulating channels and often a good indication is when you see an even flushing.
Results are visible from the first treatment but for an ideal outcome most patients benefit from a minimum of 3 treatments, spaced approximately 4-6 weeks apart. Again, depending on the severity of condition and your skin characteristics, treatment plans will vary. At Eden, we have great packages that include after care packs to ensure that your treatment results are maximised. It is important to have realistic expectations – Dermastamp treatment results will not be as prominent as more invasive surgeries and patients with severe skin issues may not be the most suitable candidate for this procedure.
There is no skin burning or skin coagulation involved which is what distinguishes Dermastamp from heat-based technology and treatments. This also reduces side effects and there is close to no risk.
The cost of Dermastamp at Eden may vary depending on your areas of concern, the number of sessions needed, and your ultimate goals. For example, Dermastamp may be combined with other treatments or products to help you achieve the best outcomes. We will advise you accordingly and create a tailored treatment plan that suits your body characteristics, your goals, and your budget. Read more about skin needling Dermastamp treatment cost on the "How Much does It Cost" section.
Ideally you should turn up to your appointment with a clean, product free face. Your skin will be photosensitive after the treatment so it is best to stay out of the sun and avoid using any harsh products on the treated area for the following 48 hours. Again, our friendly and professional team at Eden will help advise you on what you need to do before and after treatment.
