Breast sagging is usually accompanied by loss of breast volume. As such, breast lift surgery is often done in conjunction with breast augmentation because a combined procedure may be the best way to correct the issue of both lack of volume and sagging. There will be additional costs involved if a combined procedure is chosen (please see our combined breast lift and augmentation procedure page).
Breast lift surgery may be eligible for a Medicare item number which means Medicare rebates and private health fund cover apply. If you are not eligible for a Medicare item number, then Medicare rebates and private health fund cover do not apply. Your eligibility for a Medicare item number will be assessed during your one-on-one consultation with Dr Edinburg, after which we will provide you with a detailed personal quote outlining all the costs as well as comprehensive information and support around your planned surgery and treatment options so you are fully informed prior to making your decision. Feel free to speak with us about Medicare’s eligibility criteria when you call.

He demands the highest level of care for you from the moment you enter the hospital, whilst you undergo your surgery and during your postoperative care.
